Brightness control in windows 7
Note: Adaptive Brightness is only available in Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate & Enterprise editions. Here is the note I read from the microsoft website: 'If the Screen brightness slider isnt available, your laptop might not support brightness adjustment or you might need to update your display drivers. Or else press Windows key and type sensors and press enter. Thats my problem here coz there is no adjuster for brightness in the Power Settings. Select the displays you want to use on the right side. (see screenshot below) 3 If you have more than one display, select the display you want to change the brightness for under 1. To check whether a sensor is pre-installed in your system or not, go to Control panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Location and sensors. 2 Click/tap on the Adjust desktop color settings link under Display in the left pane. It is such a feature that if the lighting conditions in your current environment get low then it will automatically light up the display a bit brighter for the comfort of your eyes and vice-versa. The adaptive brightness is a feature primarily built on the Windows 7 sensor platform. If you spend most part of your day on front of a computer then you should really care for the brightness and contrast of the display. Adaptive Brightness is a feature which adjusts the lighting conditions of the screen of your system accordingly to the present environment for the ease of your eyes.
